In 1994 after various management positions with LTL carriers, Greg and Tim Piper started their Same Day Delivery Inc. with the encouragement and financial support of a key customer contact.

What began as a one truck, two-man operation has been blessed with substantial growth. At the request of a number of customers we have expanded our business to include a Truckload Division, Local Cartage, Nationwide Brokerage, and a Distribution Warehouse.

Piper Logistics began as a DBA in 1996. In early 2002, volume in the warehouse and brokerage sectors necessitated evolving Piper Logistics Inc. into a separate company.

Same Day Delivery Inc. now provides furniture delivery, local cartage, and interstate truckload and LTL service specializing in the Indianapolis to Chicago market.

Now named The Piper Group, Piper Logistics is a premier warehouse distribution service with a local, National, and International customer base. The brokerage division provides nationwide transportation services.

All divisions in both companies enjoy a growing and increasingly loyal customer base with each division benefiting from reciprocal business making us a full service transportation logistics provider.
